Just minutes from beautiful Sairee Beach, 'Island Muay Thai' has a prime location in one of the most convenient and accessible locations on Koh Tao.

Long accepted in Asia as one of the toughest, most demanding martial arts around, Muay Thai (Thai Kick Boxing) has finally been embraced by the Western world as a truly great fight-training sport to improve movement, conditioning, work rate, striking power and accuracy. Elements of Muay Thai are used by professional fighters in virtually every fight sport- from MMA to K-1 to traditional kick boxing. Since 2004 fight and fitness enthusiasts have been coming to Koh Tao to learn the secrets of this truly amazing art form from some of the best in the game.

The owner and head trainer, Pi Toon, is widely recognized as one of the premier Muay Thai trainers in Thailand. A former Thai champion, Pi Toon has long been on the country's Muay Thai Training Council and he employs only the best fight trainers in the region. All have many years experience, both in the ring and as instructors. When they're teaching they're top-notch and they're also good for a laugh when they’re outside of the ring as well!

Our facilities are outstanding. Island Muay Thai is equipped with a large stadium and Thai Boxing gym, featuring boxing ring, spacious training areas with a number of bags, a mirrored shadow-boxing area to work on technique and a big, fully-appointed Western gym which is open from early in the morning until late in the evening.

Island Muay Thai offers tuition for both men and women of any age or experience level. Novice fighters looking to improve their skills with our comprehensive Muay Thai training, as well as those with many years experience and numerous fights under their belt, come to fine-tune their skills with our knowledgeable staff. We also offer special courses for children on request.

Our trainees now find that coming to a tropical island for an extended holiday, having a real cultural experience and getting into the best shape ever is a fantastic way to revitalise their life!

For those looking to challenge themselves and step into the ring against a real-life opponent, Island Muay Thai can accommodate you. We organize fight nights 3 times a month and when you're ready, we'll add you to the billing!

Pi Toon will carefully select an opponent of similar experience and skills to ensure an even match and to safely protect both fighters. Then you will be allowed to take center stage in front of a raucous audience of hundreds of spectators and fight fans. This is far removed from a typical Thai holiday!
